"What's on the Pomáz - Los Angeles axis?" This time, saxophonist Mihály Borbély with his old fellow musician, Dániel Szabó, a pianist living in America, and with two excellences of the young jazz generation, bassist Ádám Bögöthy and drummer Attila Gyárfás, is looking for the the answer. The opportunity of this special line-up was created by the virus sitution, because Dániel Szabó has been living in Hungary again temporarily since the spring. Mihály Borbély took the opportunity to revive the joy of making music together. “We touch the instrument and the common music is already born” – this is how he described the self-evident nature of the flow of the music between them, for which the channel was built when the pianist was a member of the Borbély Műhely for more than a decade. According to Mihály Borbély's remarks, the influences of the Carpathian Basin appear more and more prominently in the music of Dániel Szabó, so that in addition to modern jazz, they can now engage in an understanding dialogue on the language of ethnojazz rooted in Bartók's music. Modernity and freshness are also guaranteed by the presence of two younger musicians at this concert, who not only know and own the latest musical trends with confidence, but are also partners in the rhythmic focus of the music of Mihály Borbély.
