Decolonize Your Mind Society released their first album in 2020, drawing inspiration from non-European cultures, non-standard tunings, American minimalism, and psychedelic, ritual music, which earned them worldwide attention and recognition. With their second album, released in 2023, the band has created a similarly unique but different approach – with tempered tunings derived from the equal division of the octave, odd meters, and this time played with intonating instruments instead of fixed-pitch instruments. Over the years, the band has performed at numerous Hungarian and European festivals with its completely unique program, such as Eurosonic in the Netherlands, Donaufestival in Austria, MENT in Slovenia, and ORA Jazz Festival in Romania.
