Nikoletta Szőke, chosen by readers of Jazzma.hu both in 2014 and 2015 as “Singer of the year”, is without a doubt the most popular Hungarian singer on the international jazz scene. She leads two own groups, the Nikoletta Szőke Quartet and the Nikoletta Szőke ‘Version B’ Project. Albums of the Nikoletta Szőke Quartet appear since 2010 in Japan, with imposing sales worldwide.
On the present gig in the Opus Jazz Club the quartet, with guest guitarist Roland Balogh, performs the material of Nikoletta's seventh solo album, Moonglow. The CD was produced by 4 Grammy-winner Helik Hadar and the group was joined at the recordings by world-class drummer Gregory Hutchinson. The album is available worldwide, in the distribution of Universal.
