- Attila Borkó - tenor and alto saxophone
- János Weisz - piano, Fender Rhodes
- Márton Eged - bass guitar
- Péter Vadász - drums
Pastell Contemporro was founded by pianist János Weisz and saxophonist Attila Borkó. The repertoire of the quartet consists mostly of originals. The compositions include elements of the Bartókian sound, built on combination of contemprary and folk music, as well as typical motifs from the American mainstream and fusion jazz. Besides their melodious themes and vibrant rhythms, their music is interspersed by energetic and versatile instrumental solos.
