A prodigiously talented alto saxophonist, Sándor Soso Lakatos was already playing with top musicians at home when he went to study in Amsterdam at the age of 20, taking masterclasses with world-renowned American musicians such as Miguel Zenon, Branford Marsalis, Gerard Presencer, and Brad Mehldau. Thanks to his outstanding results, he was awarded a Huygens Scholarship and has performed in many prestigious clubs in the Netherlands and Europe. Since his return home, his polished, intelligent and highly imaginative playing has enriched the Hungarian jazz palette in numerous bands and projects, such as the Balázs Bágyi New Quartet, Tzumo Exclusive and the Bart'z eColony Band led by József Horváth Barcza. On this evening, he will take to the stage with renowned representatives of the Hungarian jazz scene.
