Tony Lakatos is a globally acclaimed saxophonist, renowned for his work across jazz, pop, and rock, with around 350 recordings as a leader or sideman. Based in Germany since 1981, Lakatos has a strong connection to Spain, where he became friends and musical partners with the distinguished Italian pianist Fabio Miano. For this event, they’ve formed a quartet with two stellar local musicians to perform original compositions and jazz standards. Their music features a blend of straight-ahead jazz, bebop, hard bop, and a vibrant Latin feel.
