He arranged and produced recordings of such talents as Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Ray Charles, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra and Duke Ellington, not to mention producing the albums Bad and Thriller by Michael Jackson.

Modern Art Orchestra performs a tribute to Jones with vocalist Kriszta Pocsai appearing as a special guest to sing five songs from Ella and Basie, originally arranged by Quincy Jones.
