The long-planned concert of one of the most characteristic percussionists in Hungary, Tamás Geröly and pianist-composer Máté Pozsár, playing in duo, is a real treat for those who love complex-structured contemporary free music. The prominent Hungarian representatives of the genre – and of two generations of musicians – have played together several times in different formations and on special occasions, but they have only appeared on stage only twice in the present format. In the second half of the concert, the frequent fellow-musician of both artists, double-bass player Péter Ajtai joins them, adding further exciting colours to the evening’s musical palette.
