We hardly need to present Gábor Juhász, the Gramofon and Artisjus Prize winner guitarist and composer, for the visitors of Opus, as he performs frequently at the club, most recently he played with his quartet at the end of January. About his present concert program he said: “Last year, at my fiftieth birthday concert, I wanted to avoid retrospection but the desire for it touched me a bit. Since then, I have been getting more and more mature with the idea of arranging some of my songs from the past 30 years for my trio, the most stable, most supportive outfit of my life so far. My colleagues were eager to support the idea. The program includes songs that were important at some time, at some of my projects, so I qualified them as of some account. I think we will present a quite exciting old-new repertoire at the concert.”
